Help for Ukrainians Affected by the War
The Blue and Yellow Hearts Foundation provides needs-based assistance to Ukrainian individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, displacement, loss of income, medical emergencies, housing insecurity, or other urgent circumstances related to the war.
We understand that asking for assistance can be difficult. Our application is designed to help us understand your circumstances respectfully and determine whether the Foundation may be able to provide support.

Who May Apply?
You may apply if:
- You are a Ukrainian individual or are applying on behalf of a Ukrainian household.
- You or your family have experienced hardship connected to the war in Ukraine.
- You are currently unable to meet one or more essential needs.
- You are willing to provide reasonable information or documentation supporting your request.
- You certify that the information in your application is truthful and complete.
Applications may be submitted by individuals currently living in Ukraine or Ukrainians who have been displaced to another country.
What Assistance May Be Available?
Depending on the applicant’s circumstances and the availability of charitable funds, assistance may include:
Food and Essential Supplies
Groceries, hygiene items, clothing, children’s necessities, and other essential household supplies.
Housing and Utilities
Temporary shelter, rent, heating, electricity, water, or other essential housing-related expenses.
Medical Assistance
Medications, medical treatment, medical equipment, rehabilitation, or transportation to receive care.
Transportation and Relocation
Urgent transportation, evacuation-related costs, or limited relocation assistance.
Education and Child Support
School supplies, educational expenses, childcare-related necessities, or assistance for children whose education has been disrupted.
Other Urgent Needs
Applicants may describe another essential need that is not listed above. The Foundation will determine whether the request is consistent with its charitable mission and available resources.
How the Process Works
1. Submit an Application
Complete the online application and provide as much information as reasonably possible. You may save supporting documents or photographs to upload with your request.
2. Application Review
The Foundation reviews applications based on demonstrated need, urgency, household circumstances, available resources, and established program criteria. We may contact you or a reference for additional information.
3. Decision and Next Steps
You will be contacted using the email address, telephone number, or messaging application provided in your application. Approved assistance may be paid directly to the applicant, a service provider, landlord, medical provider, pharmacy, or another verified recipient.
We aim to provide an initial response within 10 business days. Complex requests or applications requiring additional verification may take longer.
Important Information
Submitting an application does not guarantee that assistance will be awarded.
The amount and form of assistance are determined solely by the Blue and Yellow Hearts Foundation. Decisions are based on individual need, available funding, program requirements, and the Foundation’s charitable priorities.
The Foundation may approve all, part, or none of a request. It may also provide goods, vouchers, or direct payment to a service provider instead of a cash payment.
Please do not pay anyone to submit an application. The Blue and Yellow Hearts Foundation does not charge application or processing fees.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Information submitted through this application will be used to evaluate your request, verify eligibility, administer assistance, prevent fraud, maintain required charitable records, and comply with applicable laws.
Your personal story, photograph, or identifying information will not be used publicly for fundraising or promotional purposes without separate permission.
Please do not submit passwords, complete payment-card information, Social Security numbers, or unnecessary identity documents.

The Blue and Yellow Hearts Foundation is not an emergency response agency and cannot guarantee immediate assistance.
